The Serenity 12 panel drug test combines a 120mL urine collection cup with 12 preliminary drug-screening assays and three separate specimen-validity indicators. Its configuration includes BUP/10, ETG/300 and FEN/20 for programs requiring buprenorphine, alcohol-metabolite and fentanyl screening in one device.

The pH, specific gravity and creatinine indicators are additional specimen-validity checks. They are not drug panels and are not included in the 12-panel count.

Specimen Validity Indicators

This cup includes three ADLTX indicators that provide additional information about selected urine-specimen characteristics.

Compare each validity pad with the color chart supplied with the product at the specified interpretation time. These indicators do not identify a particular adulterant and do not independently prove that a specimen is authentic or intentionally altered.

EtG, Fentanyl and Buprenorphine Screening

This product provides a drug test with EtG at a 300 ng/mL cutoff. EtG is a metabolite produced after alcohol is processed by the body. A preliminary EtG result does not establish impairment, the amount of alcohol consumed or the exact time of consumption.

The dedicated fentanyl assay screens at 20 ng/mL. A general opiate panel should not be treated as a substitute for a separate fentanyl assay.

The buprenorphine panel screens at 10 ng/mL. Buprenorphine is tested separately because it is not reliably represented by a general opiate screening panel.

How to Use the Serenity 12 Panel Drug Test

1. Keep the test sealed until the urine specimen is ready to be collected.
2. Open the cup and collect an adequate specimen according to the included product instructions.
3. Secure the screw-top lid to help prevent leakage during handling.
4. Check the built-in temperature strip within the period specified in the instructions.
5. Expose the drug-test panels and specimen-validity indicators as directed on the cup.
6. Read the drug-screening results at the specified time, generally approximately five minutes after collection.
7. Compare the pH, SG and creatinine indicators with the supplied color chart at their specified reading time.

Always follow the instructions supplied with the current product lot. Do not interpret the drug panels or specimen-validity indicators outside their designated reading windows.

How to Read the Drug-Test Results

• Negative: A control line and a test line appear for the applicable assay.
• Preliminary non-negative: A control line appears, but no test line appears for the applicable assay.
• Invalid: The control line does not appear. Repeat the test using a new device.
