Best Drug Test Products for Drug Courts
Multi-Panel Drug Test Cups
Cups combine collection and screening in one device, so collectors can test many participants a day with fewer steps.
They are the standard choice for random urine testing in adult, DUI and family treatment courts.
Best for: courts, probation departments and providers that collect for the court.
Serenity Cup® Drug Test Cups
Serenity Cup® products are built for professional buyers who need clear results and a configuration that does not change between orders.
Courts can use them for routine screening, expanded panel testing and recurring bulk orders.
Best for: programs that write one approved product into their policy manual.
EtG Alcohol Tests
EtG is an alcohol metabolite, so EtG tests show recent drinking rather than current impairment.
Courts use EtG strips and EtG-inclusive cups to monitor sobriety conditions between hearings.
Best for: DUI/DWI courts and any docket with an alcohol abstinence condition.

Drug Court Drug Testing FAQ
How often do drug courts test participants?
Each program sets its own schedule in its policy manual. National best practice standards for adult treatment courts call for frequent, random testing, commonly at least twice a week during early phases, so courts need a steady supply at every collection site.
What drug test cups do drug courts use?
Many courts use 12- to 18-panel urine cups that include fentanyl and, for alcohol monitoring, EtG. High-risk dockets may use 21- to 28-panel cups that add xylazine, kratom, K2 or tramadol. The right cup is the one that matches the drug list in your program manual.
How do treatment courts monitor alcohol use?
Most use EtG alcohol tests or EtG-inclusive cups. EtG shows alcohol was consumed but does not measure impairment, and incidental exposure from products such as hand sanitizer can produce low-level results, so programs set cutoffs and confirmation rules with that in mind.
Should drug courts test for fentanyl?
Many do. Choose a cup that lists a dedicated FEN assay or add a fentanyl strip, because a standard opiate panel is not designed to detect fentanyl.
Are rapid test results enough to impose a sanction?
Rapid cups give preliminary results. Treatment courts commonly send non-negative results to a laboratory for confirmation when a participant disputes the result or when a sanction depends on it. Follow the confirmation rules in your program manual.
What is the difference between Forensic Use Only and CLIA-waived tests?
They are different intended-use labels. Many expanded configurations used by courts and corrections are Forensic Use Only. Our Forensic Use Only guide explains how to choose.
Can treatment providers order supplies for the court?
Yes. Courts, probation departments, treatment providers and testing vendors that collect for the court can all order in bulk and request recurring supply.
Can we send our current supplier quote?
Yes. Send your current quote, required drug list, weekly test volume and collection sites, and we will reply with our bulk price.
