Description

14 Panel Drug Test with EtG, Fentanyl and Specimen Validity

This 14 panel drug test with EtG and adulterants combines urine specimen collection, preliminary multi-drug screening and specimen-validity checks in one integrated cup. Its configuration includes dedicated EtG, fentanyl and PCP panels together with commonly requested opioid, stimulant, benzodiazepine, marijuana and other drug panels.

The three validity indicators—pH, specific gravity and creatinine—are separate from the 14 drug and metabolite panels. They provide information about specimen characteristics but do not independently prove that a specimen was intentionally altered.

This product is labeled Forensic Use Only and should be used according to its current packaging, instructions and intended-use designation.

What Does This 14 Panel Drug Test Screen For?

This product screens for the following analytes at the listed preliminary screening cutoffs:

Drug Class / Substance Abbreviation Cutoff Level (ng/mL) Typical Urine Detection Time
Opiates OPI 300 1–3 days
MDMA (Ecstasy) MDMA 500 1–3 days
Oxycodone OXY 100 1–3 days
Phencyclidine PCP 25 1–3 days
Cocaine COC 300 2–4 days
Methamphetamine MET 1000 2–5 days
Methadone MTD 300 1–3 days
Barbiturates BAR 300 2–4 days
Benzodiazepines BZO 300 1–7 days
Fentanyl FEN 20 1–3 days
Amphetamines AMP 1000 1–3 days
THC (Marijuana) THC 50 3–30 days
Buprenorphine BUP 10 1–3 days
Ethyl Glucuronide (Alcohol) ETG 300 24–80 hours

Always confirm the configuration and cutoff levels against the current product pouch and instructions. Screening cutoffs should not be confused with detection windows. For additional information, review our guide to drug test cutoff levels.

EtG, Fentanyl and PCP Screening

The term “14 panel” does not identify one universal test configuration. Different cups may replace EtG, fentanyl or PCP with K2, tramadol, gabapentin, PPX, TCA, EDDP, hCG or another specialty panel.

EtG/300

EtG is ethyl glucuronide, a metabolite associated with alcohol exposure. This panel produces a qualitative preliminary result at a cutoff of 300 ng/mL.

An EtG result does not measure current blood-alcohol concentration, determine impairment or establish the amount or exact time of alcohol consumption.

FEN/20

Fentanyl requires a dedicated FEN panel and should not be assumed to be included in a standard OPI/MOR test. This cup provides preliminary fentanyl screening at 20 ng/mL.

The separate opiate, oxycodone, buprenorphine and methadone panels should also be interpreted independently.

PCP/25

The PCP panel screens for phencyclidine at a preliminary cutoff of 25 ng/mL. PCP is not included in every 14-panel configuration, so buyers requiring it should verify the complete analyte list before ordering.

pH, Specific Gravity and Creatinine Indicators

This product includes three separate specimen-validity indicators commonly described as ADLTX or adulterant checks.

pH

The pH indicator provides information about whether the specimen’s acidity or alkalinity falls within the ranges shown in the product instructions.

An abnormal pH result may require additional investigation, but it does not independently establish intentional adulteration.

Specific gravity

Specific gravity provides information about urine concentration. An unusual result may be associated with dilution or other specimen characteristics.

Interpret the result using the color chart and timing instructions supplied with the exact device.

Creatinine

The creatinine indicator provides additional information about specimen concentration. A low or unusual creatinine result may warrant further review under the organization’s specimen-validity procedures.

These indicators are screening tools. They do not identify a specific adulterating substance or replace definitive specimen-validity testing.

Intended Forensic Use

This cup is labeled Forensic Use Only. It should not be represented as a CLIA-waived clinical diagnostic device or an over-the-counter home test.

Appropriate forensic users may include:

  • Law-enforcement organizations
  • Court systems
  • Correctional facilities
  • Probation and parole programs
  • Juvenile detention facilities
  • Laboratories supporting qualified forensic organizations
  • Other entities permitted by the current product labeling

FDA explains that drug-test classification and labeling depend on the product’s intended use. Review the FDA’s drugs-of-abuse testing information for a general regulatory overview.

Organizations must verify that the current product labeling matches their specific testing program. Buyers requiring a different regulatory classification can review available CLIA-waived drug tests.

What Is Not Included?

This configuration does not list:

  • K2 or synthetic cannabinoids
  • Gabapentin
  • Tramadol
  • Propoxyphene/PPX
  • Tricyclic antidepressants/TCA
  • Methadone metabolite/EDDP
  • Norfentanyl
  • hCG

Buyers requiring one of these panels should compare all 14 panel drug test cup configurations instead of assuming every 14-panel cup screens for the same substances.

How to Use the 14 Panel Drug Test Cup

Always follow the instructions supplied with the current product.

  1. Inspect the sealed package, expiration date and storage requirements.
  2. Collect the required urine volume directly in the cup.
  3. Secure the lid immediately after collection.
  4. Check the built-in temperature strip within the period stated in the instructions.
  5. Place the cup on a flat surface and start the timer.
  6. Expose or view the result panels as instructed.
  7. Read the results at the manufacturer’s specified time—approximately five minutes for this product.
  8. Read the pH, specific gravity and creatinine indicators using the supplied validity chart.
  9. Do not interpret results after the permitted reading window.
  10. Record the results according to the organization’s testing procedures.

For illustrated instructions, review how to read a drug test cup.

How to use a 14 panel drug test cup with EtG and adulterants

Adulterants test

Adulterants testing with these strips is a process that searches for any kind of tampering with a urine sample from the donor.

Those additional ADLTX strips will further increase the minimum chance that the sample can be changed or anyhow tempered with before testing.

Some of the commonly used adulterants in urine drug testing are:
  1. Table salt
  2. Household vinegar
  3. Liquid laundry bleach
  4. Lemon juice.
  5. Diluted urine (creatinine below 15 mg/mL).
  6. Visine eye drops

The urine drug testing cups with adulteration drug test are designed to be user-friendly and reliable.

Confirmation and Testing Limitations

A preliminary non-negative drug-panel result should be confirmed using an appropriate laboratory method according to the organization’s testing procedures. GC/MS or LC/MS may be used when appropriate for the analyte being confirmed.

This rapid screening cup cannot determine:

  • Current impairment
  • The amount of a substance consumed
  • The exact time of exposure
  • Whether medication was used as prescribed
  • A quantitative drug concentration
  • A laboratory-confirmed result
  • Definitive intentional specimen tampering

Detection time varies according to the substance, cutoff, specimen, metabolism, frequency of use and other factors. Review our educational guide to drug detection times for general information.

Compare Other 14 Panel Configurations

Choose a configuration according to the required drug panels, specimen-validity features and intended-use designation.

The product classifications and analyte combinations differ. Verify the exact page, packaging and instructions before ordering.

Bulk and Wholesale Ordering
