Description

ETG Drug Test Cup with Fentanyl, BUP and PCP

This 12 panel drug test with ETG combines urine collection and preliminary multidrug screening in one compact 90ml cup. The configuration includes EtG at 300 ng/mL, fentanyl at 20 ng/mL, buprenorphine at 10 ng/mL and PCP at 25 ng/mL.

This version does not include pH, specific-gravity or creatinine specimen-validity indicators. It is intended for buyers who need PCP coverage together with EtG and fentanyl rather than the ADLTX configuration offered by related Economy cups.

Drugs and Cutoff Levels

Drug or drug class Abbreviation Cutoff level
Amphetamines AMP 1,000 ng/mL
Buprenorphine BUP 10 ng/mL
Benzodiazepines BZO 300 ng/mL
Cocaine metabolite COC 300 ng/mL
Methamphetamine MET 1,000 ng/mL
Methadone MTD 300 ng/mL
Opiates or Morphine OPI 300 ng/mL
Oxycodone OXY 100 ng/mL
Phencyclidine PCP 25 ng/mL
Marijuana metabolite THC 50 ng/mL
Ethyl glucuronide ETG 300 ng/mL
Fentanyl FEN 20 ng/mL

A screening cutoff is the concentration used to distinguish a preliminary negative result from a preliminary non-negative result. A negative result does not necessarily mean that no drug or metabolite is present; it may be present below the applicable cutoff.

For additional information about screening thresholds, review our drug test cutoff level guide.

What Does the EtG Panel Screen For?

EtG, or ethyl glucuronide, is a metabolite produced after alcohol is processed by the body. This cup includes an EtG urine assay at a 300 ng/mL cutoff.

drug test with EtG does not measure current impairment and should not be interpreted like a breath-alcohol test. The result may be influenced by the timing and amount of exposure, individual factors and incidental exposure to alcohol-containing products.

Testing programs should interpret EtG results according to the manufacturer’s instructions and their written procedures. A disputed or consequential preliminary non-negative result may require laboratory confirmation.

Fentanyl Screening at 20 ng/mL

Fentanyl is not automatically included in every standard 12-panel configuration. This cup includes a dedicated FEN assay at a 20 ng/mL cutoff.

A rapid fentanyl assay should not be assumed to detect every fentanyl analog. Programs requiring coverage for a specific fentanyl-related compound or metabolite should review the manufacturer’s insert and cross-reactivity information.

Separate BUP and PCP Panels

Buprenorphine requires a dedicated assay and is not automatically detected by a general opiate panel. This cup includes BUP at 10 ng/mL in addition to its OPI/300 assay.

The configuration also includes PCP at 25 ng/mL. PCP replaces the ADLTX indicators found on the related Economy BUP, EtG and fentanyl cup.

A preliminary non-negative BUP result does not establish whether use was prescribed, authorized or unauthorized. Relevant documentation and confirmation procedures may be necessary.

How to Use the 12 Panel Urine Test Cup

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the specific product lot.

  1. Prepare the cup. Keep the test sealed until specimen collection is ready to begin. Check the expiration date and review the product insert.
  2. Collect the specimen. Remove the lid and collect urine directly in the cup according to the required collection volume.
  3. Secure the lid. Replace and tighten the lid immediately after collection.
  4. Check the temperature. Read the built-in temperature strip within the period stated in the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Allow the test to develop. Keep the cup upright on a flat surface for the specified development period.
  6. Read each panel. Interpret the Control and Test lines within the manufacturer’s result-reading window.

For illustrated instructions, see our guide explaining how to read a urine drug test cup.

How to Interpret the Results

  • Negative: A Control line and Test line appear for the corresponding assay. A faint Test line should be interpreted according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Preliminary non-negative: The Control line appears, but the Test line does not appear for the corresponding assay.
  • Invalid: The Control line does not appear. Repeat the procedure with a new device.

This cup provides preliminary screening results. A non-negative result should be confirmed using an appropriate laboratory method when required by policy, regulation or the consequences of the testing decision.
