The 13 panel oral swab drug test
This oral swab drug test is designed with 13 sets of specific drug testing strips. These simple devices are used in most other testing devices, including dip cards as well as drug testing cups. But those strips have even lower cutoff levels for oral testing.
The strips come into play once the saliva has been scooped up by the test swab.
The mouth swab drug test can begin, as you insert the swab into the container with the strips.
Once the saliva comes into contact with the strips, each individual strip will start showing its results one by one and after 5 minutes you will have the full results.
The oral swab drug test
Although the urine testing method is the most used in the world, the saliva drug testing method is also used. This method, as seen in this mouth swab drug test, has the ability to find traces of drugs even after several weeks have passed. This extraordinary amount of time is due to the nature of saliva.
Saliva is quite capable of storing traces of drugs for extended periods that can be much longer than urine. The trade off being that these tests are scarcely available in everyday testing and the more cost effective urine tests are far more present. These testing methods are regularly used in order to fulfill each other’s results and confirm them.
Gathering saliva
Saliva is gathered with special and soft swabs provided with the other testing equipment in the oral swab drug test.
The instructions can provide far better information and everything you will need to know about this topic. But essentially the saliva is collected from your cheeks by slowly rubbing the swabs on the inner wall of the cheeks.
Once the swabs have gathered a sufficient amount of saliva the swab is removed from your mouth and moved into the saliva drug test kit container.
Within this box, you will find 10 sets of testing strips that are here to administer the test and figure out your drug levels. This process should not take longer than 5 minutes to complete.
