13 Panel Dip Card with Tramadol, EtG, Fentanyl & ADLTX
The 13 panel dip card with tramadol is a 13-panel urine dip card that screens for 13 drugs in one device. It combines tramadol, EtG and fentanyl with an OPI/300 opiate panel and adulterant checks.
Tramadol and fentanyl are synthetic opioids that need their own panels, and EtG adds alcohol-metabolite screening without a separate test.
This configuration is labeled Forensic Use Only and includes pH, specific gravity and creatinine validity indicators. Compare other configurations in our multi-panel dip cards.
13 Panel Drug List and Cutoff Levels
Compare both the target and the cutoff when choosing a configuration. Products with a similar name or panel count can use different cutoff levels.
| Drug Name | Abbreviation | Cutoff |
|---|---|---|
| Amphetamine | AMP | 1000 ng/mL |
| Buprenorphine | BUP | 10 ng/mL |
| Benzodiazepines | BZO | 300 ng/mL |
| Cocaine | COC | 300 ng/mL |
| Ethyl Glucuronide (alcohol metabolite) | ETG | 300 ng/mL |
| Fentanyl | FEN | 20 ng/mL |
| MDMA / Ecstasy | MDMA | 500 ng/mL |
| Methamphetamine | MET | 1000 ng/mL |
| Methadone | MTD | 300 ng/mL |
| Opiates (Morphine) | OPI | 300 ng/mL |
| Oxycodone | OXY | 100 ng/mL |
| THC / Marijuana | THC | 50 ng/mL |
| Tramadol | TRA | 100 ng/mL |
| pH | pH | Specimen validity indicator |
| Specific Gravity | SG | Specimen validity indicator |
| Creatinine | CR | Specimen validity indicator |
Specimen validity indicators: pH, specific gravity (SG) and creatinine (CR). These are not counted as drug panels.
13 Panel Dip Card Features
The dip card is used with urine collected in a separate cup, which keeps the cost per test low and fits existing collection procedures.
All 13 panels are read from one device, so a broad screen takes one collection and one reading instead of several single-panel tests.
Each panel has its own control line, so you can see whether every panel ran correctly before recording results.
Specialty Panels in This 13 Panel Dip Card with Tramadol
BUP/10 screens for buprenorphine, which is commonly monitored in medication-assisted treatment programs.
ETG/300 screens for ethyl glucuronide, a metabolite of alcohol. An EtG result does not measure blood-alcohol concentration or impairment.
FEN/20 is a dedicated fentanyl assay. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that a standard OPI (morphine) panel is not designed to detect, so a separate fentanyl panel is needed when fentanyl screening is required.
MTD/300 screens for methadone, which is commonly monitored in opioid treatment programs.
TRA/100 screens for tramadol, a synthetic opioid that is screened separately from the OPI panel.
Specimen Validity Checks – pH, Specific Gravity & Creatinine
This dip card includes three specimen-validity indicators in addition to the drug panels.
- pH: indicates whether the specimen is outside the expected acidity range shown on the reference chart.
- Specific Gravity (SG): provides information about urine concentration and may help identify unusually dilute specimens.
- Creatinine (CR): another concentration-related check that can assist when evaluating possible dilution.
An unusual indicator result does not by itself prove adulteration. Read the indicators against the color chart supplied with the product and follow your program’s review procedure.

How to Use and Read Results
Always follow the package insert supplied with the exact lot, because collection steps and reading times can differ between devices.
- Collect the urine specimen in a clean, separate collection cup.
- Open the pouch, remove the protective cap and dip the card into the urine without exceeding the MAX line.
- Hold the card in the specimen for the time stated in the insert, then replace the cap and lay it flat.
- Read each result line within the interpretation window stated in the insert.
- Negative: both the control line (C) and the test line (T) appear for each panel. A faint test line is interpreted according to the insert.
- Non-negative (preliminary positive): the control line appears but the test line does not. This is a preliminary screening result, not a confirmed result.
- Invalid: no control line appears. Do not interpret the result; repeat the test with a new device.
A non-negative screen should be followed by laboratory confirmation according to your program’s procedure before any final decision is made. A screening result does not show impairment, dose or the time of use.

Intended Use, Storage & Limitations
This dip card is labeled Forensic Use Only. Forensic Use Only status is different from CLIA-waived status and should be confirmed for each product before purchase.
Store sealed pouches as directed on the packaging, check the expiration date before use and use each device only once.
This is a preliminary screening test: it detects only the targets listed above at the stated cutoffs. As the FDA guidance on drugs-of-abuse screening tests explains, preliminary positive results should be confirmed by a laboratory. Instant tests are not an authorized method for DOT-regulated drug testing under 49 CFR §40.210.
