Which Cassette Fits Your Program
We stock two test cartridges, both labeled Forensic Use Only, and each one screens a urine specimen for a single target.
Kratom Screening
The kratom cassette uses a 500 ng/mL cutoff, and its insert names the compound used to calibrate it.
Alcohol Marker Screening
The EtG cartridge screens for ethyl glucuronide, an alcohol metabolite, at 300 ng/mL. It suits programs where alcohol is the one substance they screen for.
Reading the Result
On the kratom drug test cassette, the result shows in a control region (C) and a test region (T):
- Negative: a line at C and a line at T
- Non-negative: a line at C only
- Invalid: no line at C, so run a fresh cassette
Treat a non-negative result as preliminary until a laboratory method confirms it. The EtG product page shows its positive, negative and invalid results as pictures.

How the Cassette Format Works
Unlike a dip card, a urine drug test cassette is not dipped. You add urine with the supplied dropper or pipet:
- Lay the cassette on a clean, flat surface
- Put three drops of urine on the marked sample area
- Check the result at 5 minutes, and never after 10 minutes
Who These Tests Are For
A Forensic Use Only label limits each drug test cassette here to law enforcement testing, such as court systems, police departments, probation and parole offices, juvenile detention centers, jails and forensic labs working for these agencies.
The kratom cassette is not sold for home use, CLIA waived clinical work or DOT programs. For workplace, clinic or treatment screening, pick a cup from the CLIA waived drug test cups range.
