Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy.

Read the Medication Guide and, if available, the Patient Information Leaflet provided by your pharmacist before you begin taking gabapentin and every time you get a refill.
Antacids containing magnesium or aluminum may interfere with the absorption of the medication. Consequently, if you’re also taking an antacid, it’s ideal to take gabapentin at least two hours after taking the antacid.
